Camp

I'm really starting to dig this doggie day care, or as Daddy calls it "Camp." As first I wasn't sure I'd like it, but I enjoy lounging by the pool and am actually getting used to being around other dogs (although I always let them know who is the boss). I think Daddy really enjoys it, he calls himself a Socket Mom which really confuses me. He now calls his car the Town & Country Squire Wagon with Fake Wood Sides. I think he's nuts, but love him still.

Who is this creature?

Pappy took me to the vet last week and there was a little dog in a cage. It had a sign that said "Adopt me." The dog is named Abbey and she lives with us now. She has a lot of energy, so Daddy calls her Abbey Normal and then laughs. I don't get it.

I should be a model

This isn't me, but it could be. I got dreams, some day I'm gonna be a star! What was the movie about the chick who welds?
"Remember my name (Fame)I'm gonna live foreverI'm gonna learn how to fly (High)I feel it coming togetherPeople will see me and cry (Fame)I'm gonna make it to heavenLight up the sky like a flame (Fame)I'm gonna live foreverBaby, remember my name!"

Liberty Call

So Daddy was gone on some big boat all last week. He came back, talking loudly and making no sense. He'd try all these accents and then call me some name. First it was Pirate Talk and he called me "Argh, Ye Curvy Dog."

Next it was Sailor Talk and he called me "Land Blubber."

Then he said some stuff in what he called Papiamento, the language of the Dutch Ant Hillies. It made NO SENSE as he called me "Dushi," which he said meant "Sweet." Whatever, he kept giving me treats everytime he said it so I was OK with it.

Just Pooped

Rainy weather makes me sleepy. They say we're going to see the sun today (yeah right), so if that happens, wake me up.

Nick and Gabby Visit

The niece and nephew visited from San Antonio. I got lots of attention so it was a good visit.

What to do for Christmas?

I think Christmas is coming. Daddy and Pappy got all dressed up last night for some big party. They had a bizarre conversation that went something like this:
Pappy: "What time are we going?"
Daddy: "I don't know, but I don't want to be too early or too late"
Pappy: "So what time are we going?"
Daddy: "I don't know, but floss your teeth as da mayer is going to be there."
I don't know who da mayer is but he must be an important dentist. Anyway they seemed to have a good time.
